Map of malaria outbreaks in the year 2035:
spoiler
ShowOh wait that's from the 1800s. Retvrn to tradition.Malaria is most common in areas with unclean water and an abundance of mosquito breeding sites. It was really common in the American southeast because of climate, insects, and infected water.
The predecessor to the CDC started a coordinated campaign to get rid of malaria in 1947 and the US was declared malaria free in 1951. Most of it involved modernizing water treatment plants, eliminating mosquitoes, repairing irrigation systems, handing out medications, etc
hmmm all of that sounds like woke nonsense, I'm confident the guiding hand of the free market will fix it this time
telling a blue hair non-binary barista I only drink coffee made from untreated water full of mosquito eggs
Dude Oregon has literally five fold the amount of mosquitoes as normal for this time of year right now
what if we made a cryptocurrency called bloodcoin that derives its value from mosquito bites instead of digital mining
I fucking love gin and tonics. If I can get sauced AND not get malaria, it's a win-win.
My friend who has a fuck ton of Gins turned me onto using a Lemon for garnish. It is actually better than Lime imo. Combine that with Fever Tree Mediterranean, it is fucking amazing.
Gin, ginger beer, and lemon is called a Foghorn and is in my top 3 favorite drinks
Got some Ginger Beer on me now. Will have to try that later this week (dry day).
There's also gins where an orange zest or a slice of cucumber work super well.
OH GREAT
I’m a fucking mosquito magnet too. I’m gonna have to be good about using bug spray when I go out at night
yeah im fucked. ive managed to avoid covid but the mosquitoes are going to give me fucking malaria
