Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans - The most Nicholas Cagiest movie since Vampire's Kiss
also Thief, James Caan gets tired of having his labor exploited and does something about it.

The Babadook (2014) - Well-regarded spooky movie about a child’s bogeyman who starts to haunt the mom, too.

Gung Ho - Came out in 1986. A Pittsburgh car factory shuts down and a foreman approaches Japanese businessmen to save it. Japanese come in, get rid of the union, implement strict policies and all the good ol' blue collar Americans must adapt.
From when Japan was China and the plot of a Michael Keaton comedy vehicle was that the US had to get rid of unions because of Japanese businesses. The movie has been criticized for being xenophobic and not hard enough on the lazy American workers.
Cure (1997) -- Kiyoshi Kurosawa's take on Se7en, pretty much. Cool, stylish crime thriller, currently ranked #215 on Letterboxd's Top 250.

Edit: we watched it on Sunday, July 16.
Listen Jack, it wouldn't be a trapped chap house radio show without the hosts mispronouncing some words.
Jennifer's Body (2009) -- Megan Fox kills her male classmates with the power of woog. Amanda Seyfried tries to stop her, but falls into woogin' herself:

Last Night in Soho (2021) -- Anya Taylor-Joy goes back in time to 1960s New York and the timeline starts going out of whack. From Edgar Wright, director of Shaun of the Dead:
