    Yeah, Google is supposed to de-prioritize websites that hide content. Whatever bribe LinkedIn keeps paying them notwithstanding.

      The secret is to show a bit of the content for a few moments. Long enough for a bot to read enough of it to get the gist, but neither enough content nor for long enough to be worthwhile for a human. Same strategy as a news site paywall, "Sure here's the thing you were rea-WHOOAAA HAHA GOTCHA ACTUALLY A PAYWALL!"

      Dude is just so stupid he won't even allow that.
