not even DSA would put out this cringe of an article about celebrating this racist anti indigenous ghoulish symbol of entrenched bourgeois liberal institutional power
great, it's not a party. the OP's greater point is still correct, speaking as someone who spent two years working within the org to reform it to be less shit.
yeah I've got friends in DSA doing some neat local initiatives but even they agree that that's all despite the national leadership, which is what I'm talking about, not the rank-and-file which I know varies
They're incredibly establishment. They hold their members back in terms of how radical they and their actions are instead of pushing and guiding their members. It's the same problem with CPUSA, the rank and file is far more radical and has way better politics than the national leadership who are revisionist establishment Dem collaborators.
CPUSA and DSA competing for the position of most right-wing socialist party

Someone doesn't know what DSA is. Don't talk shit about something you know nothing about.

Yeah, it's definitely up to the chapters. My local's discord was full of people mocking her and posting memes about her Oneida decision.
Then a couple of the gun owners posted guides to buying weapons and we planned a range day.
What's national's problem? I never really paid attention to it. My old local was pretty decent. Idk about this new one yet though.

Ah I see, that does kind of suck. Politics is mostly done on the local level thankfully though.
