What do you mean nobody says that any more? What? What the fuck is a hexbear?

Additional fantastic quote from long ago that I can't quite remember: “Corporations would do well to remember that workers didn’t start striking out of a boorish refusal to negotiate, but rather out of a gracious reluctance to storm the factory owner’s mansion and beat him to death in front of his children.”

That's not all he said. He said we know who it is, then later cited a salary of $27 million.

Who has a salary of $27 million (or at least according to the first result on Google)? Disney CEO Bob Iger. Dude literally gave a thinly veiled threat directly to the CEO of Disney.

He had to have known this would mean he'll never work a Disney film again, but he didn't care because he's a gigachad.

disney'll hire him if they think his face will sell best, capitalists don't give a shit. they let writers make eps about how shitty they're being paid, their bosses don't care. as long as that shit sells.

Capitalists aren’t perfectly logical beings whose every actions are those that make the most profits.

If you piss the CEO off, especially by essentially threatening to burn down their house, they’re not just going to let that slide.

    Here is the full quote.

He walked back the quote a little bit (probably after being advised by his lawyer) but not by much.

I reposted this on my TikTok without even including the end where he diluted it ever so slightly. It just ends after the long pause following "where he fucking lives" 😂

Reminds me of capital flight. Are you really going to ship multi-ton machinery to random global south countries? Who's going to purchase all of these empty factory buildings? Who's going to purchase your products?

What kind of dumbass thinks capital flight isn't fulfilling every leftist's crocodile wetdreams of billionaires magically disappearing?

I might be getting some of the story wrong, but there was a Lipton tea factory in France that shut down and was going lay off everyone and move production out of the country. The workers there showed up and literally just seized the thing and they eventually won the right to it; it’s now organized as a co-op called “SCOP-TI”.

There should be a lot more of this in de-industrializing nations.

When the regular rich start o realize that they are also peons to the Uber rich

Isn't this how the French rev and American rev happened? Just rich people tired of dealing with the mega rich turning the screws to them

Wasn't the American "revolution" mostly about a bunch of slave owning oligarchs being butthurt about having to pay taxes to the British?
