Also children reared in an anarchist society would already be giving/refusing consent on diverse subjects already and have much better ability to sniff out stinky situations themselves or have a decent enough circle of trusted friends/family to help them work through it.

The reason that the left sees compromise as failure is because, historically, it is. When the left compromises with capital, they do not win concessions, they simply fail slower as the working class organs of power are degraded into nothingness. The obvious exception here is China (but now China is imperial tankie so who cares according to these jokers) but even their success is far a-future, when they are able to control their destiny without American imperial hegemony hemming them in.
And in America, why bother to promote compromise? Nobody is listening to you anyways, nobody gives a shit what you say. You can be right, wrong, or omniscient, and you will always always always be ignored in the real locuses of power, because it isn't in their interests to listen to you.
