Man sweating as he looks at two buttons:

Italians don't matter to third-worldism because they're white people | White people see Italians as a third-world population that aren't white people

Disclaimer: This may or may not be exactly what he said, but there are a couple sources saying that Mao commented on the likely nuclear destruction of Italy. Another translates it as "Italy doesn't matter." The main, non-Italian portion of the quote is well documented.

I saw a quote talking about nuclear war where Mao said something more general about Europe to the effect of "why should Europe survive?"

there was also some exchange with Nixon where Mao told him what's the fuss about watergate and that Nixon should just crash all the investigators since he is the most powerful man on earth.

    Nixon was like:

    what-the-hell

I know there's anti-italian-action memes on here, but in a serious way, this goes to show that no one should be idolized to the point of being beyond criticism.

Anti-fascist Italians helped make scared-fash into no-fash , and discounting them entirely is uncool.

That's how i read it too, assuming its real. I do think its rad to remind Europeans/USians that their presence and culture is not any more essential to the human race at large than anyone elses.

Yeah I posted this one because it's especially funny, but Mao has a bunch of sarcastic quotes like this

It was during the peak of Eurocommunism, where basically European socialists (yes including Italian Communists) basically went nah we good with being US lackeys.

Reminds me of Castro later in life saying he would have rid the world of the US if Cuba had gotten the nuclear weapons or when Castro wrote Krushchev urging him to use the missiles and to sacrifice Cuba if necessary.

It's like r/Chapo falling on it's metaphorical sword so r/TheDonald could be banned.

Castro was a revolutionary prepared to die from the beginning so this is completely unsurprising to me. You can see a very different tone between the revolutionaries and the administrators who never took part in any revolution throughout history.

Yhea, i dont think he was being homofobic. It was probably a latin american way of calling krusev spniless. Like we call putin a cuck. That said it sucks to be compared to krushev.
