Very weird and surprising to see a complete lack of materialist scholarship! Especially considering I'm always hearing workers IRL talk about their struggle. That's why Marxists consider the proletariat to be the most progressive class, workers are excited to be learning and applying about materialism each and everyday.
I am always overhearing them always talking about new innovations that can enrich their lives, I have never heard a gamerchair socialist talk about stuff like new sustainable HVAC technology or new types of fabric that can keep people cool under the looming global warming holocaust or whatever. The only thing a gamerchair will do is cry about how "hopeless" and "doomed" they are because their anti-communist wannabee bourgeois individualism (aka neoliberalism) leads to nihilism and despair. Edit 2: Another user has pointed out that the account Ketamine_device_tech is BMF-esque and may be the actual original account, but the account was never banned, so I think it might be a different person entirely.
Edit 3: Having read more of Ketamine_device_tech, it actually does seem like a larval-stage BMF. The posts have similar gripes (one post uses the phrase "Jacobin socialists love Walmart), and they use the "amber snacking" emote.

I work in proximity to hardhat/trades types, but they're usually middle class - well paid and pretty chuddy.
Our entire generation was steered away from the trades; I agree we gotta get back in there, but to chastise us for not wearing coveralls and carrying around metal lunchpails is just gonna make you tons of awful patsoc friends.
Besides, the revolutionary energy of the working class will come from those with nothing left to lose - food/retail service workers, gig drivers, things like that

I think this is kind of a cargo cult criticism and you should slow down and try to work from basic ideas instead of just slapping bad name on thing you bristle at and good name on thing you like. There are real things mentioned here but it's ultimately just a crank post.
