i really tried to get into this show but after like 6 or 7 episodes I just couldn't care about the characters or anything that was happening. like even clone wars (which I love) was pretty kiddy at the start but I couldn't push through that initial phase of rebels. a bunch of people I know who've watched it kinda say the same thing. is it worth trying again?
It’s funny that you say 6 or 7 episodes, because I felt the same and distinctly remember that it was episode 8 where I suddenly cared. So I do recommend trying it again, but ymmv.
I also highly recommend listening to A More Civilized Age if you don’t already, which has recently started Rebels
Honestly?
Outside of the ST, Disney Star Wars is quite good, imho.
Though I do miss George Lucas...
i really don't like it
Yeah, I was the same way a few years ago.
I kinda just accept it for what it is... but eh.
The Force Awakens - Good in isolation, bad when you realize nothing it set up was actually planned out and there’s no payoff
The Last Jedi - Okay, set up a good sequel that was squandered
Rise of Skywalker - So bad it makes me dislike the previous two movies retroactively.
Rogue One - Good
Solo - Okay
Mandolorian - Season 1 was great, after that okay.
Book of Boba Fett - Not great but not the worst.
Obi-Wan Kenobi - Fucking terrible
Andor - One of the best shows I’ve ever seen
Rebels - One of the best shows I’ve ever seen
Season 7 Clone Wars - Once they finally made it it was absolutely fantastic.
Bad Batch - Good
Visions - Not my favorite personally, but just because I don’t like anthology stories. It’s good, just a personal preference.
Am I missing any?
But yeah outside of Obi-Wan Kenobi and Rise of Skywalker they’ve been pretty decent

The most recent season was kinda boring IMO. I stopped after the first couple of episodes and forgot it existed until this post.
Yeah I can’t disagree. Bad Batch’s big episodes are pretty good, but it’s a lot of filler. That’s why it just got a “good” and not any elaboration lol
