Wouldn't be good for protestors. Wouldn't be good for anarchists. Wouldn't be good for people using someone else's ID for transit. If you're on this site, chances are you wouldn't be getting tax breaks for community service; you'd be getting blacklisted from trains for jaywalking or missing a dinner reservation. Like fuck, I'd consider myself a Tankie, but I don't see an upside remotely worth the cost of this.

Not to mention the surveillance required to make social credit viable. 'Actual credit in America is even worse!' is a bullshit argument too.

    Liberals mad.

    cracks knuckles, okay

Wouldn’t be good for protestors. Wouldn’t be good for anarchists.

Uh neither is the police or army or intelligence apparatus under a capitalist state. Or for that matter having a heavily armed populace dedicated and marshaled to the dominant ideology if it's a capitalist state. It's almost like who is running things matters a lot. Almost like a dictatorship of the bourgeoisie is not the same as a dictatorship of the proletariat.

Done, there. That was quick and easy. These two things are not the same. Of course a lot of things under capitalism, done by capitalist governments in service of the western imperialist agenda are bad, not by their nature but by the nature of who/what they are done in service of.

I like how OP is tacitly assuming that the US government ISN'T already monitoring us all under constant watch and installing cameras outside of our driveways and hooking all this data up to license plate scanners so that police can know at a glance whether you've said wrongthink on the internet.

I guess they slept through the Snowden leaks because yes they have all the data. They're still working on the data science portion of fully profiling and neatly categorizing all of us in nice lists though. Guess they've also never heard of police fusion centers because if you're an activist, you have a file with them!
