Honestly can't blame you for getting hyped. Games media would not shut up about that game, it was paraded around as the next big thing for months and given amazing review scores. Then a week afrer releaase no one talked about it
Pirated it to play for a few hours expecting to want to buy it, found it pretty lacklustre so I never bought it. I feel like we need the demo disks in cereal boxes again; lots of people buy into the hype and are out their one budgeted hobby purchase for the month
Honestly Obsidian needed some help. PoE2 was decent but a failure, and Outer Worlds was meh. We'll see what Obsidian can do with the resources
The Outer Worlds was such a bland let-down.
I built a new computer for it (and Cyberpunk), and then it was like, "this is it?!"
