I bet it will be im-vegan related, especially because of the reddit-logo stench that wafts off of "the problem is both sides are too extreme" Enlightened Centrists that already showed up here, and few things get them more defensive and tribalistic than vegans existing, let alone stating (correctly) the cost and consequences of industrialized meat production.

Pronouns are a strong contender, love how ours show up even when we go to other communities.

I don't know if this fits but I think a lot of fediverse users think that America is "fundamentally good" and just "makes mistakes from time to to time" or "the system just is not working correctly and just a couple small tweaks will make it work correctly again"

Saw someone comment on a post about China experiencing .5% deflation.

Democracy is always superior to authoritarianism, long term. Regulated capitalism is always superior to state owned and directed business.

There was also a Tiananmen square/Uyghur comment in the same thread.

Oh yeah, I have a soft spot for it too, I just was surprised that I had never thought about the cast before. It was commonplace at the time and that was only in the 2000s. Wild.

The Lion King was a childhood favorite for me and that's way more problematic than The Emperors New Groove lol (The hyenas did nothing wrong)

There will be many attempts at starting one, personally I think most of our settled issues will stay settled since we are still the largest and most active federation (is that what we call our group?). I don't know what struggle sessions to come we haven't had yet, I don't think we've had a "separate art from their artists" in a little while so I bet its going to be that since I don't remember a resolution. I'm gonna lead with "how can you still listen to Ye after that Alex Jones episode?" and its gonna spark off.

    Was outdoor cats ever "solved"?

Struggle sessions don't get solved they go dormant and will always crop back up even without federation. Mods can do what they can to suppress them but there will always be a few threads that slip through the crack.

It's unlikely but it would be quite funny if there was another Settlers struggle session
