Genuinely idk what to do... I really need a vehicle where I am at but I don't want to deal with a nazi.

I mean they probably have repellant views but this doesn’t scream neo nazi to me. The Iron Cross, while carrying some connotations, plenty of Normies just don’t recognize those and just think it’s a cool bad ass cross. Maybe I’m just missing something but that’s my read

Isn't Independant a skateboard company? They changed their terrible logo: https://shredder.news/independent-trucks-logo-change/

Lmao, they probably just googled “independant [sic] logo” and were like “oh cool a cross!”

Imo they're not beating the allegations by adding red and rounding out the logo...

Nvm, I looked too hard at the logo and not the dates. A quick Google image shows differing uses of their brand name to create a logo tho and that's cool. They even have one where it's iron cross esq but has swirlies on the top and bottom instead, which I guess is a good nod without being tethered to such a problematic insignia. But yeah... The one they had used was definitely catering to a certain crowd wether or not they were aware of what they were doing...

Like the old one on a white background looks like something a klansman would wear as a patch on their robe...

Yeah but the article shows that they used the iron cross before changing it. Could be an older jacket but I don’t see anything online

Dude's just a clueless suburbanite. Also, don't sew three patches onto the back of your jacket, even if it is this jank rando shit. Banner at the top, center piece, lower banner - that arrangement is a no no.

This isn’t damning on its own, plenty of people would just see the iron cross as a cross. Becomes apparent if they’re just clueless if it is a pattern with other signs or not.

I don't think there's any Christian who would look at that symbol and naively think it's for Christianity

They might not know what it means but they definitely aren't thinking it's "just a cross" lol

It is literally a Christian symbol that was used as a Christian symbol by the Prussians and later the Nazis.

It isn’t standard looking, but it isn’t a rare form of cross.

Looks more like a clueless wannabe biker than an actual nazi. Early Hells Angels and other motorcycle clubs appropriated Nazi symbols, helmets, etc. Their goal was more shock value than anything else. Hells Angels were founded by WW2 fighter pilots that couldn't adjust to normal life again, so I can kind of understand how waaay back in the day the original dudes might have felt like it's NBD because they killed a bunch of nazis. TO BE CLEAR, I'm not going to bat for the Angels or other 3%er clubs, they are shit people who do awful stuff, but context kinda matters, and I don't think some suburbanite who's trying to dress like a fake biker is necessarily a nazi.

The Bundeswehr still use the Iron Cross, AFAIK. A biker who wears a fake Pickelhaube is not inherently a prussiaboo, so why's this any different?
