People shit on this movie but I still find it incredibly prescient. More than any movie I can remember watching in recent time it captured something that was brewing in the subtext of society and gave it a voice. That being said, thanks to the accumulation of capital and our current late stage of capitalism's influence on hollywoo, companies like Disney have made that an incredibly low bar to get over.
