    So can people with a weed card have guns? Or is this just like people who smoked pot one time in college are allowed to own a gun?

      You cannot be barred because you use illegal drugs, that would include having a weed card. This individual had a gun and "weed cigarettes" when they stopped him.

    This particular ruling is for the better, but it points to the likelihood that the Supreme Court will rule in favor of domestic violence offenders being able to retain firearms, which is going to be very bad.
