??? is that a bunch of raw fucking meat just sitting out next to fresh fruit on an open display stand ???
setting aside for a moment how nonfuckingsensical spending five dollars on ten oz of meat is... that is a goddamn disgusting violation of every food safety protocol i know.
the. absolute. fuck.
It’s worse, I think the fruit is being used for display purposes, with it looks like mushrooms? So just straight up wasting food for display purposes to make the meat look more luxurious.
ugh.
yes, and we arnt even going to discuss the issues of cross contaiminating mushrooms and pinapple, because i have only so many aneurysms to give
Even if it is just for display purposes (what a waste), mushrooms should never be anywhere near pineapple.
There is a special place on hell for whoever is responsible for this.
im pretty sure the whole thing is a death trap on purpose. someones trying to murder somebody with shitty fucking blueberry hamberders.
cross contaiminating foods, especially fruits, is a good way to end up with someone being dead.
food allergies are a thing, and both pineapple and mushrooms are common ones with major reactions.
Oh OK, I thought it was some specific interaction between those two things.
ah, no. itd be just as bad if it was say.. peaches and asparagus.
the major issue is that they arnt (at least not necessarily, since theyre raw and all) meant to be consumed together, so chances are much higher someone allergic to mushrooms noms some pineapple and then croaks.
sketchily looks around so nobody sees my favorite pizza, pinapple mushrooms and banana peppers
You're all making fun of this and I'm just thinking that if we get people hooked on this and keep increasing the blueberry percentage we'll have them vegan within a year.
reminds me of the sponge patty from that Spongebob episode where they took rotten burgers that looked like sponges and just sold them
I imagine the maple would do that hot sugar thing in the grill and enhance the maillard reaction. IF those are low bush blueberries, their acidity and tartness could add a lot to the meat with a backbone of sweetness. But they're probably high bush, and just add a bunch of sweetness with a very mild blueberry flavor.
It looks gross, just make some lovely pink Biffs a lá Lindström instead
