The night RBG died I def managed to break some people there from the "vote." mindset but now that they've had time to process a bit they're back on their lib shit 100%
Yeah, as silly occult shit goes astrology is pretty damn boring. Do some thelemic ritual or dance around a fire while drumming or something.
There is a kind of divination in Africa where people put a spider or a crab into a bawl with sticks and do-dads that each have a symbolic meaning. They watch the crab manipulate and move those symbols to make predictions about the future. Shit, now that I think about it might arguably be considered animal cruelty.
It doesn't have to but from what I've read they just catch a random crab or spider so I'm not convinced the animal well-being is nessesary accounted for.
Astrology is not only not real but actively bad for your brain.
This but about Buddhism, and Islam, Christianity, Sikhism, and so on.
Until people with a stick up their ass learn to berate those vastly more harmful religions on an equal level, I will happily continue ironic occult/witchy/satanic LARPing.
There are many, many ways. But first of all, the belief in an after life is either wishful thinking (heaven) or paranoid (hell) and amounts in any case to a poor coping strategy.
Any belief in supernatural entities; like demons, jinn, or whatever, again breeds paranoia and undermines the capacity to actually understand these phenomena.
Maintaining religious beliefs, given the contents of their founding texts, requires either being only culturally religious, or an incoherent view of history, nature, and morality.
Almost all religions are patriarchal, that alone should be sufficient reason to reject them.
I am not saying you should just ditch your religion; the deconversion process is an almost invariably harmful one, even if that becomes inevitable for some people or might eventually improve things.

There are a couple of "practising witchcraft unironically is anticolonial" people on here too.
