ROFL Democrats have already surrendered on fighting the Supreme Court pick. I mean I know it’s not likely they’d be able to stop them from getting confirmed in the end but they’re not even bothering to try here.
What's crazy is, there was a poll last year from NPR/PBS/Marist that showed 77% of Americans are in favor of preserving Roe. That's crazy high for like, anything. How are Democrats not making this about Roe and forcing Republicans to pay a huge price? They at least have a tiny chance of stopping this by making it about Roe, I bet there are at least 4 GOP senators from states where people don't want to make abortion illegal. But just watch, they will just let Coney Barrett tap dance around the abortion issue and say shit like "well it would be improper to ask a nominee how they would vote in a hypothetical case".
