I only ever talked to a psychiatrist once and it was recently, I think I hurt them more than they helped me. Basically we ended on a note of yeah everything fucking sucks and it's reasonable to be stressed/depressed right now.

I mean it's certainly not as bad to live here as it is to live in a place ravaged by us or our "allies"

I mean, I'd still have anxiety, agoraphobia, and panic attack disorder under communism. I'd just have an easier time of getting help and wouldn't be constantly pushed into situations that make my conditions worse.

When I was a depressed, anxiety ridden teen instead of taking me to a real therapist they took me to the children's pastor instead because he was free. (They were loaded, btw. Also very cheap.)

Needless to say his advice sucked and instead of getting to the root of the problem my parents just forced me to see a tutor so that my grades would go back up. After that, they didn't give a shit as long as I didn't make a scene.

If you're feeling depressed, you must be guilty of something so maybe spend more time with the priest in the back where he can help you absolve your sins on your knees.

You claim to have an anti-depression kit, yet you can't fit a hug and a kiss in a small bag.
