    What do you mean by that? Of course people distinguish between that, but when proto-fascists who still pay lip service to liberal norms are allowed to publish their opinions inside of liberal publications, then there is no point of making a distinction between those two groups on that particular issue as it is within the allowable discourse for liberals. I'm guessing that poster just didn't know whose opinion they were reading.

          Benchmark for how "liberal" is understood.

          And that post similarly has the author cut off, so people voting are (like here) getting the impression that OP is saying more.

          Anyway, I'm kinda over it now. I guess i'll look out for more ...liberal use of the term lol

      OP cut off the author's name from the screenshot and labeled it "Fuckin liberals" implying it's a liberal take. It feels deliberately dishonest.
