Club Random is such a garbage name. It gets even dumber when you learn that it’s called that because he named the bar in his house “Club Random” and that’s where it’s recorded.

I love Bill Burr, he might be the most honest person that uses the "what do I know, I'm just a dumb white guy" disclaimer line because he actually does try to learn and admits when he's wrong and does better.

Which makes him perfect for taking down a smug up-his-own-ass clown like Maher.

I'm trying to understand what changed...

Admittedly I used to not mind Bill Maher, I used to watch Real Time and appreciate it.

Has he always been like this and I've evolved in my sociopolitical beliefs, or has he become more of a chudass and I'm still a LIB ?

That’s kinda what I think too. Just embarrassing to know I was a bigger lib at one time lol.

He used to be way worse. I’m pretty sure he’s toned down the racism. I’m curious what you even as a liberal appreciated about him. I watched like two episodes in middle school and concluded this guy was an irredeemable bigot.

It was around the same time I watched the daily show, and stuff like that. The comedy shows that made luke warm takes about politics. It was a digestible way to take in a different political perspective than I was used to growing up.

All that shit is just unbearable to me now. The smug takes from people who are insulated from the repercussions of the politics they make fun of.

Maher was also the worst of all of them I think for sure.
