There was nothing wrong with him that a house call would solve. The man threatened to kill the president.

He's 70 years old. He's an adult and responsible for his own actions.

All they had to do was check up on him. Take his guns if he wasn't healthy. Maybe monitor him for a while. No need to murder him in his own home.

Not that I agree with him or anything, but I do think that cops shouldn't show up to your home unannounced and summarily execute you when all you've done is post.

You didn't read the article I guess? It wasn't the cops, it was the FBI. They don't do "check ups". If the FBI is checking up on you, you did some shit.

Also, they don't shoot without thinking. They aren't saying anything now, but I bet this dude drew a gun on the FBI. Which is one of the easiest ways to commit suicide.

So let's look at this dude again:

        • Posts lots of threats against specific leaders
        • Has lots of guns including a sniper rifle and a ghillie suit
        • Specifically says online he wants to use the sniper rifle to assassinate the specific leaders
        • A leader is coming to town, so the FBI investigates

And you think a "check up" is going to help? This dude 100% drew a gun on the FBI.

Cointelpro ended more than 50 years ago, in 1971. No one who did that is even in the FBI anymore. It's a completely different agency. You need to be angry at newer things. They are just accused of investigating a little extra now:

            https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2023/jul/17/fbi-head-christopher-wray-republican-attacks-fisa

Progressive activists’ concerns about FBI surveillance stretch into the present day. According to a 2022 memo declassified by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence in May, the FBI violated its own guidelines in running so-called “batch queries” related to 133 people “arrested in connection with civil unrest and protests” after the murder of George Floyd by a Minneapolis police officer. The memo found that the FBI conducted similarly inappropriate inquiries of more than a dozen people suspected of participating in the January 6 Capitol attack.

The insinuation that the FBI is great and cointelpro was some deviation instead of a continuation of standard protocols is very funny. Good bit.

You bet he pulled a gun? Where is the video of this supposed action? Are we going to trust the FBI?
