The fucking equipment from the military gets trickled down to police forces. It's sick. Cops in NYC think they're fucking soldiers. Only solider aspect is their equipment. I wish i could describe what's going on down here in NYC against NYPD this past summer. It's fucking wild
Now what's funny is that the NYPD's funding ranges from 6 billion to 9 billion depending on what site you check, to put that into contrast, Taiwan's military spending is aprox. 10 billion. Iran is 9 billion. Singapore is 8 billion. Sweden is 6 billion.
Don't know about you but I'd love to see the piggies get into a fight against a military force that has the same amount of money to throw around.

The tools & tactics of yesteryears wars abroad are the tools & tactics of today's domestic oppression of the populace. Same intelligence gathering/data analysis methods they were applying to "terrorists" in 2000 are the tactics they're using against protestors today.
