I feel like it's a little more clear and uses mainstream terms. Also, great suggestion from @marxisthayaca@hexbear.net to highlight the beauty pageant stuff. Most people are grossed out by child beauty pageants for good reason, and this is especially true on sites like reddit if anyone is planning to share it there.

At the risk of sounding suspicious, which states have actually lowered the age of consent? I just haven't heard of them actually doing it.
Idk if any states have lowered the age of consent, but there's been several examples of republican politicians opposing anti-child marriage laws at the state level.

Maybe I could have worded that better, but I guess I was referring to some chuds (likely of the libertarian variety) who complain about age of consent laws. Building on other suggestions here, maybe I'll change it to "Conservative chuds defending child marriage laws and forcing kids to participate in beauty pageants" Does that sound better?

My only critique is the use of the word "chud" but that depends on how much mass appeal you are aiming for. If you want to reach a broader audience consider changing that to a term that isn't a leftist in-joke.
But otherwise it's great.
chud, to me, is like the potential of such a word like 'tory', the irish word for "thief"

I'm all for mainstreaming "chud" if we can. It sounds like an ugly brutish word. Perfect for an ugly brutish ideology.
Maybe "conservative chuds" would work to make it more clear but also popularize the term "chud".
