    The Radical Republicans had a large contingent of Marxists who were exiled after the failed 1848 revolutions across Europe. Please talk about that.

        Lincoln was far from a Marxist, but he was under a lot of pressure from Marxists. Secret History of the Civil War is a good text on the subject.
