posted a super cringe thing (yeah he usually does but bear with me) that listed all these fictional rebellions and the audience's presumed affinity for them, then suddenly yanked it around and claimed that the GOP is the new rebellion.
When the richest man alive has something to say about rebelling against the establishment then you know you're in for quite the take
He's like the developer-corporation-backed organization that was called "Band of Brothers" in Eve Online: they were a silver spooned bunch of assholes that got kickbacks and perks directly from the company that ran the game, treated thousands of other players like shit and actually called them "pets" yet at the same time their own propaganda portrayed them as the Rebel Alliance in Star Wars.
Every single thing I hear about that game simply validates my decision to never ever touch it
It's more fun to read about it or watch videos about it.
You may enjoy this. I did.

I played against those dweebs when I was with Goonfleet. Once we found out about the unfair advantages they had the general reaction was "haha this is awesome" because we were still winning. You couldn't pay me to play that game again but for a time it was fun to fly with the Goons
Fable 3. Maybe one of the Far Cry's? Borderlands 2. The newer AssAssin's Creed's. Probably some Star Wars games.
Far Cry 4 and 6 are the closest. Overthrowing tyrant leader of a country. The rest are more like cults and wannabe's you put down.
Except Far Cry 2. That one's just depressing no matter how it ends.
The Saboteur is pretty close. It's like GTA mixed with assassins creed in nazi occupied Paris
One of the most underrated games ever, and now basically in purgatory since the studio was closed.
Leap off the Eiffel tower and survive? Yes please.
