When I went to school at CU Ralphie the Buffalo got sick. Over a few weeks it went from "He's young for a Buffalo, he'll be fine" to "He lived a pretty long life for a Buffalo."
Damn I'll bet CU was wonderful. A few years ago UT's longhorn Bevo got so sick that they sent him 100 miles to Texas A&M, a rival school who still brags about kidnapping Bevo and branding him in 1916. Needless to say he passed away.
