On Oct. 2, USCIS issued policy guidance in the USCIS Policy Manual to address inadmissibility based on membership in or affiliation with the Communist Party or any other totalitarian party.
As of yesterday, members of communist parties may not emigrate to the US. Details are here text of the law is here
It goes a lot deeper than that. It's another foundational stepping stone toward making any and all anti-capitalist activities illegal. Just like they are setting precedent to legally label any kind of dissident a terrorist. This is about building the legal framework for a truly fascist empire. And the ultra hilarious part is the Democrats love this shit. No fucking way Biden overturns any of this shit.
I don't mean to be be a bother but do you mind elaborating on this? I was born and raised in CA but this is the first time I've heard of this. If not, could you point me in the right direction?
Oh, I think I got my reds confused. I thought you meant cool Commie reds, not gross GOP reds. My bad! I did learn something, though: I didn't know it was illegal for a Communist to hold public office in CA 😬 :angery:
This ground of inadmissibility only applies to aliens seeking immigrant status, such as aliens inside the United States applying to adjust status to that of a lawful permanent resident
it makes me think this is a china thing like it does include former so you could just deport a lot of chinese people who were at some point affiliated with the party just because of that but i'll concede that i don't know it could be both too who knows what the fuck they are doing in there
this is just more drumming for the whole china thing more than anything i feel

I don't think the law is enforced, I assume if they wanted to make it an issue it would probably get ruled unconstitutional.
Well...
