Ah yes the infamous Chinese tourists being disrespectful, they're definitely the bad tourists no one likes and not the USians demanding their treats everywhere and making zero effort to respect the local culture
I've seen clips of 90 day fiancée and the Americans are always awful when they go to another country to meet their in-laws. Like there was this one lady who met her partner online and went to meet him for the first time in person in Kenya.
Something they did there was they filled a bucket with water when showering and would turn off the shower to save on water. They'd fill the bucket back up if needed, but this American woman threw a shitfit, acting like she would only get one bucket of cold water. She wanted to let the shower run like we do in the US. Her fiancee tried to explain to her a second time about how they only do it this way to conserve water and she was free to use as much as she needed. But of course she wasn't having it.
Then they go to buy a goat for whatever reason. The guy selling goats offers them an adult goat for like $60. My thought was "Holy shit that's a good deal on goats." This woman decided instead to be as difficult as possible. She accuses the goat farmer of trying to rip them off and starts trying to haggle over the price.
Anywho the Kenyan man's friends found out he met an American online. They immediately burst out laughing because they knew how this was going to go.
Don't get me started on Big Ed or that fuck who wouldn't eat the BBQ Filipino food his fiancée's family cooked as a wedding gift (no, he wasn't a vegetarian).
Australian tourists known the world over for being... idk pretty fucking bad. Talk big game about drinking, being really garbage drunks.
I've literally never seen a bad chinese tourist.
Maybe they don't pick up their litter? I haven't noticed but it's the only thing that seems like it might be true. But the thing is that all tourists are really bad about litter. If there isn't a bin every 10meters they don't know where to put it and they don't keep it with them until they find one because they don't know for sure that they will due to not knowing the place. It's a bad tourist habit overall.
the solution to that is to have lots of bins. some cities i've been to seem to be anti-bin and dole them out like they're made of pure gold.
I remember when Japanese tourists were the ones we were supposed to hate for idk using cameras too enthusiastically or something and definitely not any racist reasons.
I'm sure that China supplanting Japan as the most ascendant economic rival to the US has nothing to do with this also definitely not racist gripe about Chinese tourists.
this is funny because german tourists in spain love to dig holes in the ground
We get a fair share of Chinese tourists around where I live and I have never heard of anybody having any negative experiences with them whatsoever. They come here, they spend money, they have a good time and then they go home.
