Honestly domestically yeah I don’t envy Asian people in chud country Rn but I’ll be curious to see how much actual violence towards people of Asian descent this amounts to. What I mean is that one of the things that was key for trump and obunglers respective wins was a vague anti-war posturing. Trump arguably less so but I just can’t see the anger from this being strong or widespread enough to allow for any politician to leverage it into war with China, which is the real doomsday outcome IMO. A war with China is not something the oligarchs will want because of our close economic ties and that makes a big difference too. New wars with countries that can actually put up a fight are always a hard sell that’s why we keep going to war with Iraq. iMO War with Venezuela is more likely than war with China even after this.
