Hexbear was down for a bit there so I already posted this on the trueanon sub, but Hexbear is back up now hooray

I've long held the belief that Trump will never, ever face consequences for any of his myriad crimes. He's too rich, white, wet, and well connected. However, the indictments just keep piling up. People seem to think that he's going to face a minimum 5 year jail sentence here. I can't tell if it's just wishful copium or if Trump might actually be in deep shit.

There's also a lot of talk about this in the reddit-logo r/law subreddit and they're all just munching on their popcorn as the news comes in. Trump's also acting veritably deranged and going on endless public rants with ALL CAPS wall of texts, so he's obviously nervous about all of this.

I dunno, I find it all hard to believe, but the libs are saying things like they're going to name their first born child after the prosecutors in the case.

I think the libs are doing this because they’re trying to convince the chuds that Trump is a criminal and that they shouldn’t support him. It will never work because Biden is also definitely a criminal; the entire american government is criminal. The libs are also worried about Trump winning in 2024 (even though Biden and the Democrats are the greatest and most progressive team in the history of the universe and definitely cannot fail; only WE can fail THEM).

“I don’t know how ole donnie will wriggle out of this one!” but imprisoning presidents is a regular thing outside of the USA so I’m not sure why it couldn’t happen here. Chuds will respond with stochastic terrorism and suicide-by-cop at the very least.

No the chuds won’t. It’s all gotten normalized. Remember after he got raided how big of a deal it was and how if he got indicted it would be Jan 6th all over again? Now he gets indicted and it’s like a 2 day story.

Presidents don't go to jail. Bill Clinton is embroiled in the epstein trafficking ring, Bush did 9/11 started the 2nd American-Iraq war on wildly false claims killing a million people, Reagan directed the Iran-Contra affair, none of them have spent a second in handcuffs. There is more I'm missing but I don't feel like getting too mad today. They think Trump will because "it's different this time" but it isn't, he's the same as the rest of them, he's not going to jail.

Presidents have never been indicted before either. I doubt a conviction would put Trump in a real jail because that's a secret service nightmare, but he will possibly go to a "nice" minimum security one.

there's a freakin cheeto in the big house!!!

seriously though, in my mind i think they are actually trying to pin something on him that disqualifies him from running for president. in my heart i know that none of that shit actually matters and he will run again in 2024

oh for sure, 100%. I reckon he will win the election too, people are fuckin tired of inflation and instability, incumbent politicians always pay the price for economic issues like that.

What if Kissinger lives long enough to see that? 120 is possible, out of all the people on earth what if it’s fucking Kissinger that makes it that far?

I've maintained for ages that I don't believe that he'll ever face any real consequences but know idk, I feel like something must happen, even if it's just 1 year house arrest at one of his mansions or something

What if he flees to Russia, runs for president from Moscow, wins and then pardons himself

For typical American president war criminal shit no, but there is also a sort of unspoken gentleman's agreement between the two parties that they both know they work for the same people and you respect the peaceful transition of power between the two sides (of the same coin). Gotta keep up the illusion of giving Americans a choice in government.

Trump was too arrogant and stupid to understand this and continues to throw a years-long temper tantrum after he lost.

I dunno, it would be completely unprecendented but not only did he violate the gentleman's agreement, the resistance :libLIB s want his head on a legal platter and won't stop until they get it.

Anyone who tells you they know which way this will swing is lying to you, even if they end up being right.

    Here's the range of possibilities.

    1. HE FAILS TO STALL THE TRIALS AND GETS CLAPPED WELL BEFORE THE ELECTION (unlikely)
    • a) Trump is actually about to face justice, ranging from serious to only partially kid-gloved, and his narcissism makes him go all Fuhrerbunker on us. OR
    • b) Trump gets something like the minimum time for all his crimes but that adds up and he's old, he spends 5-10 years behind bars and then dies. OR
    • c) Trump gets like a year, which makes him lose.
    • d)Trump gets like a year, and he wins, and it's the funniest shit EVER. He's very unlikely to win from prison - that would hurt his chances with normal voters. But if that does happen, Biden and the governors will absolutely absolutely absolutely pardon him
    • e) Trump gets like a fucking week which probably helps him, maybe helps him a lot.

    .

    1. HE STALLS UNTIL AFTER/DURING THE ELECTION:
    • a) he wins the race and nothing happens to him at all ever
    • b) he loses and he gets one of the sentences above
    • c) he loses, gets one of the sentences above, and gets fucking pardoned by Biden for unity

    .

Notice I didn't include the possibility that he actually gets sentenced to like 200 years in prison or whatever. They aren't doing that shit

Oh also if he dies during some short prison term, they're gonna posthumously pardon him.

I thought nothing would ever happen to him, and yeah it still might not, but it's DEFINITELY within reasonable possibility that he'll be punished. He's being indicted for shit that presidents don't need to normally do, like coups and murders. The next presidents can all easily avoid all that dumb shit

The thing is Trump is too brazen and stupid to use his rich/powerful guy immunity. He publicly dares the justice system to stop him in such a high profile that no other rich powerful guy ever would. He practically forced them to indict him because he’s too dumb to play the game.

I thought he would get indicted after the J6 Committee because it gave DOJ enough political cover to not be total cowards and then the seal would be broken after that for more charges. But even then I was skeptical he would ever see a day behind actual bars, however now there is looking like a real shot he might get bail revoked because he’s incapable of not witness tampering and disparaging judges.
