In high school, I kept trying to start a bit where all the conspiracy theories were true, they were just vastly smaller-scale and dumber than they're made out to be. The HAARP weather control just rains out football games. The greys abduct people but it's just to get us to join their interstellar rager, and the people who come back got ousted for bad vibes and party fouls. All the secret societies and shadowy cabals exist, but they just engage in gang fights at the low levels and a really pointless simulaton of surface geopolitics at the high levels.
The truth is always in the middle, somewhere between lizard people secretly ruling the world and the jews secretly ruling the world.
