Of course the Republicult is going to start using this as proof that COVID is a joke, completely downplaying that 99% of America can't just hop in a helicopter to go see a top-notch medical team loaded with experimental treatments. He'll probably see his approval score go up as people decide this means he's an "alpha" tough guy and/or he deserves our sympathy after so many libs rushed to wish him well and rehabilitate his image.
The Dems are running to lose. They cuddle up to the guy. They completely alienate the progressive set to appeal to old, white suburbanites. They pull their attack ads when he gets his karmic infection.

Lol there's zero chance he gets a sympathy boost from this. Anyone who thinks this means COVID is a joke already thought it was a hoax to begin with and was voting for him anyway. Also there's like 5 total undecided voters left. This isn't going to change anything. Plus IMO it's clear that he returned to the White House against the advice of his doctors because he was afraid being in the hospital made him look weak.
