    aiui there are seventeen states in the us that follow this policy as well. more common than you’d think.

    They also close really early and on holidays, and in usual grocery stores you can only get weak beer. Not a super fan tbh

    They used to be in Washington State too, but Costco rammed through a referendum for a new liquor law specifically designed to benefit them.

      And by "specifically designed to benefit them" I mean it "protects against sketchy corner liquor stands" by having a minimum square footage requirement for a store to have a liquor license.
