Yeah it's almost like housing in this country is inherently slanted towards the wealthy (especially generational wealth).
My manager is a landlord. Over casual lunch I asked him if he'd have any moral qualms about evicting his tenants during COVID. His answer was "no", but I'd like to believe he squirmed in that moment just a little bit.
Being an engineer there is a lot of pressure for me to put my disposable income towards buying up property and renting it out. Not doing that is probably seen as an idiotic thing my many liberals. But I just can not.
