I kinda agree with WoW as a right-wing game. It's kind of a metaphor for capitalism maybe. You're pushed to grind (quests, dungeons, etc.) to keep up with the joneses, and they keep moving the goalposts / increasing the level cap / etc. to push you to keep grinding more.
