It's probably worse. Nickelback came from Alberta. And Jordan Peterson. I can't think of anyone good this god forsaken province has produced.
Alberta has no rats. Rats are an invasive species in the Americas, and the Albertan government has effectively made the province rat-free.
(This also unfortunately means domestic rats are forbidden in Alberta).
They do, however, have pack rats, which are native to the province.
