    Going to start telling liberals I'm a single issue voter but in regards to the post office. They get my vote only after they shitcan DeJoy and fund it properly.

      Congress has been inching towards postal privatization for a while. Bush put the insane rules for bankrolling retirement benefits fifty years in advance into effect in order to back door defund them. Reagan capped the rate at which they could raise postal rates to prevent competition with UPS or FedEx. I'm sure Nixon did some shit, too.

      It's been an office under siege for decades.
