OP's post is clearly just to stir up drama. If they at least tried to make a case why Xi meeting with the then U.S. Secretary of State Henry Kissinger is anything OTHER than a normal formality, just likeevery other US Secretary of State before him, it wouldn't be such bait. But I promise you, they won't, because they just want to stir up shit because we can't have one day recently without this pointless infighting bait.

Hooooooooooly shit dude. Kissinger's been out of politics for 40 years. Unless Xi had a fuckin time machine. No, this is an intelligence briefing with a long-retired diplomat.
People here are (irrationally, in my view) enamored with China. It's fine to demonstrate the hypocrisy, and maybe people will stop being dogmatic ideologues.
I just see it as being diplomatic. If anything, Xi can learn from Kissinger's mistakes.
