Well there's certainly got to be a more ...inclusive way to gain heads. It's hard to learn when you're being mercilessly mocked and ganged up on. It in some ways triggers my paranoia that sites like this are a covert psyop (obviously not though, I've lurked long enough to see there's a lot of love here).

What exactly is a liberal though? I feel like, "I don't want four more years of Trump, I don't like Biden either, but harm reduction" being championed by really intelligent and reasonable people that we all watch and listen to, to reduce them to mockery seems incredibly naive.
Let me try to reframe this from a selfish perspective (not necessarily an indictment of this community): I'm trying to get the fuck out of the US. I'm still not sure where to go, and I for sure don't have the money to do it. I feel my chances to a. accumulate the funds, b. use the delay to plot my escape, and c. possibly have the ability to leave the country, especially based on my politics, affiliations, search history (I was sooooooo paranoid when Covid hit and they shut down air travel that we were all toast) are better served without the GOP occupying all three branches of govt
Yeah, I realize a lot of it feels moot, just because the Supreme Court pick means the fascists can sanction their corruption.
In a weird sense, my dream scenario would involve Biden winning and Trump using the courts to usurp it. Then we've got ourselves the most relevant way to kick the rest of Americans into gear, especially if the Democratic leadership is exposed with another, "Welp, can't do anything about it."

I noticed a doe/deer option was added at the behest of one of the users here, and I'm new to the neopronoun thing, and they suggested googling to learn more. I did, but I didn't see it included on a list of any sort? Is fulfilling a request for neopronouns something that's specifically catered to vetted veteran members of the site, or can anyone request them? I guess I mean it feels a little in-group/out-group. If it's anything goes, is it conceivable that in a couple years time there could be a pull-down menu of 200 different options, and at what point does it lose meaning or purpose? Like why was cat added, then removed? Can it be reinstated if enough members want it?
