Crazy he asks you treat a website better then he treats his daughter.
Twitter isn't a person it's a website, you can't deadname what never lived. Corporatisation isn't transubstantiation.
Tbf I deadname myself on occasion.
But I'm also a human being and not an abomination of a website that's actually just 3 million bots in a trenchcoat
legacy name
hmmm I think I'll call it....X
hmmm I think I'll call it....Metawhy are white males like this
i dunno, but my work also likes to periodically rename everything, ostensibly for clarity, but all it causes is even more confusion, cos now we have +1 name to remember for the same thing...
Love when renames aren't consistent either so every other thing you see is using some other iteration of the name.

managers rename stuff so it feels like they're doing something, they have so little work that the company feels like a zen garden to them
CW: transphobia, violence, SA, basically full-on trauma dumping
Name jokes about cis people aren't cool, i agree, but you cissies have to realize that deadnaming isn't the same as making a bad pun on your name or not calling you your new preferred nickname. I've had cis people try to sympathize with me by telling me the story how a guy on their sports team called them some name and that comparison is just laughable. Deadnaming is a denial of our entire autonomy as a person, it declares our existence null and void, labels us as pathologically delusional and all of that happens before the background of a structurally transphobic society that denies my siblings vital health care every day, dehumanizes us constantly and creates a climate in which some of my friends get verbally assaulted literally every single day, get SAed and beaten up on a regular basis and then, if they are naive or desperate enough to call the cops about it, gets them hatecrimed and retraumatized further by the pigs. A friend of mine literally had some guy grab her between the legs to see if she, in his words, had "already cut it off" and when she called the pigs, they told her that no violence had happened and misgendered her in the report. I hear a story like this several times a week just from trans people i know IRL. We aren't even second class citizens, we are actively sorted into the subhuman category and deadnaming is an open call to engage in that behavior. Imagine having a slur for the minority you belong to on your fucking birth certificate. That's what deadnaming feels like. The official, state-sanctioned, widely accepted and popular assertion that you are not fully human.
This is just generally speaking, i seriously can't comment on the shit in the OP without being added to another watch list, so i'll leave it at this. But it should make clear what i think about deadnaming vs calling Twitter the boring-ass name the world's biggest nepo baby came up with while high on ketamine.
Generally name jokes (Putler, Drumpf, Xi Jinpooh, Leon, etc) are just infantile and reddit-tier unfunny, if not actually offensive.
Every one of these makes me hurt internally. No idea who Leon is tho, but I'm pretty sure Maoists would use TrotSSKKKy.
