These dumb motherfuckers have had their brains so cooked by reactionary conspiracism that they are out here threatening the only people coming to help them in the midst of a massive natural disaster.

I know it's projection, but they talk some big game about anyone to the left of Trump being a "npc" but these fucking people take literally all their marching orders from their thought leaders on the right without one drop of critical thought.

Last time I talked to an old high school friend turned nazi online, I pretty much told him that, that he used to be a cool and unique guy and now it's like he rolled off the assembly line with the other fucking dorks

Chuds: Why is the government giving money to Ukraine and Israel when it could be giving it to FEMA?

    Also Chuds:

Like seriously. They explicitly said they’re too insecure with their masculinity (unless it’s porky) for relief, and then when they get exactly what they asked for, they’re mad?

Not so sure. Didn't all the "FEMA camps" conspiracy theories start after Katrina under Bush?

I think so, but they went mainsteam under Obama. The Katrina clean up efforts were still going on well into 2010, well after midterms.

Early FEMA conspiracies were mostly circulated among sovereign citizen types. By Obama, they were being shared by Fox News and Breitbart.

As much as it would fuel the FEMA Conspiracy, it seems at this point to be needed.

I'd honestly be surprised if FEMA didn't have an armed paramilitary branch like all the other agencies do.

You'd figure National Guard is that point but they're too busy blowing up the Middle East to Guard the Nation.

Nah I'm talking wild shit like the Department of Energy's Federal Protective Forces, or United States Postal Service's Postal Inspectors, or the National Institutes of Health's Division of Police.

I looked into it a bit more for background info and I found FEMA's under the the DHS, so whatever squirrelly paramil outfits the DHS runs can be allocated to FEMA I'd presume.

AFAIK the Secret Service was started as the militant anti-counterfeiting wing of the Treasury. Only later on did they get protection details for US politicians and their families.

my partner dealt with this firsthand. no detail but it was basically a labor action by chuds to slow supply delivery.

wish they used their labor power for cool and good things instead but this is the Amerikkka we all know

    https://www.wbtv.com/2024/10/14/fema-contractors-ordered-stand-down-hotels-after-security-threats-messages-show/

“Effective immediately, disaster-wide -- cease inspections today and return to your hotels,” an alert from Vanguard Inspection Services read on Saturday. “FEMA received news that the Title 10 (active military unit deployed to NC) came across some trucks of militia units who said they were out hunting FEMA personnel.”

OK, alex-aware take that I don't mean to be taken seriously:

Since the politicians neglected to properly fund FEMA, they are intentionally exploiting/provoking the chuds' fear of the government to create an excuse for why they are failing to address the devastation from the storm effectively

Which I guess is my way of expressing how completely baffled I am at how conspiracy theories that are completely misaligned with their interests are started and propagated by sincere participants
