Anti-furry rhetoric is 99% likely to be anti-gay rhetoric with some faux fur carpet over it.
"I don't understand why someone does a thing so I am automatically against it" is always the wrong position and will always make someone wrong in lots of adjacent things so this shouldn't surprise anyone
Yeah, many things I don't see the point in (esp. When it comes to sex stuff), but most of the time I'm just neutral to them. Don't understand getting so worked up about those things.
I don't understand most things but if it's not hurting anyone and is informed and consenting then go for it I'm here for it
Also a big Covid minimizer from what I remember. Had this person blocked on my Lemmygrad account and didn’t remember on this one until recently when they made some subtly racist jab in a topic about the four Trump shooters being white guys.
Anti-furry is just the same as hating people with blue hair.
Views on someone's personal taste in hobbies or aesthetics don't matter. They're harmless. Anyone upset about any group based on appearances is sus.
Really? I guess people with bad ideas would be overrepresented in that group, but it doesn't stand out to me as a red flag as such.

It’s one of those things that’s not necessarily bad on its own but taken in context once someone outs themselves as reactionary it’s like “oh yeah obviously.” Like being a fan of alt history or a little too into runes and shit lol
It doesn't have to mean anything, but in some cases it means they're bristling about pronouns
It’s the default option when you make an account which is where I assume most of the “I don’t give a shit about pronouns” stuff would land, yeah. I make a note of it whenever I see a bad take now lol
You also can't update them on mobile(at least in Jerboa) because there's no drop-down access and if you try to edit it at all it defaults back to (none/use name). I keep forgetting to log into the desktop site...sigh.
I was ambivalent about pronouns, but the number of transphobes who immediately outed themselves, it was absolutely the right call.
If they're anti-furry they're a bit more than "sus" in my eyes.
