I always just hit the ball forward and then immediately circle all the way back hitting charge ups and then kinda chill around midfield until it's time to clear it again or charge the goal. Rocket League is crazy because it's so easy to be a competent player, but the learning curve to being a pro is astounding. I recommend doing the advanced tutorials over and over. Maybe someday you'll be air dribbling and hitting airials.
I didn't even know there were tutorials! Thanks for the tip. Since it's been free to play me and some friends have picked it up. It's been a nice casual way to play games with some guys I don't live around anymore. Game culture is a little messed up, but I'll never stop playing for stuff like that.
Bruh it's amazing if you have friends to mic up with and strategize. The best run I ever had I was playing with like an 11 year old kid who was willing to listen and play as a unit on 2v2.
Amen to that. My friends and i are long past our days of competence, but for a month or so a year we get back on halo. We suck, but we have moments of brilliance. It's just so nice. Maybe it's clinging to nostalgia of better days, but it feels good, and in this hellworld that's ok.
but I literally just got into rocket league
Don't be a ball chaser
I'm learning that pretty quick. Is there some method to rotating back on defense?
