    You know those studies that showed that doctors administer less painkillers to black patients due to a (presumably) subconscious belief that they feel less pain than white patients? This is like that ratcheted up to 1000. I bet in Friedman's twisted mind he truly does think these are equivalent injustices because he is incapable of empathizing with Arabs.

    Sometimes I read Friedman for shits and giggles if the article looks like might be so bad it's good. An example is when he spends time with a billionaire. Those sorts of articles are so dumb they tend to be pretty funny. But in his op-eds there's a very fine line between enjoyable garbage and moronic trash that's more pathetic than funny. I was pretty sure that article wasn't worth reading. I was right but also wrong. I thought he'd spend at least several tedious paragraphs making absurd and indirect comparisons. But he just directly typed out the baby brain analysis of what was in his head.

    If I was a standup comic - I'd use the bit in blue in my act. I might even quote it verbatim.
