I remember we used to sing the second verse all the time. Then it would only be saved for special occasions like the second verse of a national anthem.
No one sings the second verse of the alphabet at all now. I don't even see people use the letters from the second verse.
Does anyone else remember singing the second verse?
wtf kind of weird ass school did you go to where you didn't sing the second verse of the alphabet song
smh my head
The alphabet song is one of those old songs with a hyper racist third verse that everyone pretends doesn’t exist anymore
I found a YouTube link in your comment. Here are links to the same video on alternative frontends that protect your privacy:

Yeah but every time we finish singing the second verse, an Eldritch abomination, whose name cannot be beheld by human brains let alone spoken or spelled, who was already ancient when the world was young, whose coming is accompanied with the sound and sensation of rats scratching the walls (all walls, every wall, as if it's coming is a burden on the concept of walls and barriers as a whole) and writhing with tentacles appears inside the classroom and immediately starts hitting on the teacher and trying to impress her with his sports car and ability to gaze into peoples souls and being able to speak ancient Latin, Aramaic and Esperanto.
She tried getting a restraining order but typical useless cops said the being "defied all laws of man and physics, known and unknown" and "even death may die" so they couldn't do anything about it so we just had to stop singing the second verse.
To no-ones surprise, the creature later moved to America and became a GOP senator for West Dakota, which I think is a state it manifested into existence, pulled from the void between reality and fiction, so it can hit on young women and drive his car.
Next Gen X grievance just dropped
kids don’t learn cursivekids don’t learn the esoteric art of the second half of the alphabetWe got extra credit for singing both verses backwards. It was like a cheat code you could use once or twice a year if you failed a test.
