Never understood ziezek. It always confuses me when he is explaining. Read this in zizeks voice and it went over my head.
I'm poking fun at Zizek's speaking style here.
I'll admit Zizek's actual theory practically requires an undergraduate degree's worth of reading for a foundation. He uses Lacanian Psychoanalysis theory of how individuals develop a sense of "Self" and merges it with Marxist Philosophy to describe how groups develop Class Consciousness or False Consciousness. He sits comfortably with a bunch of other Where-The-Fuck-Did-Fascism-Come-From theorists like Gramsci and Adorno.
