This is the only media interaction with bonercelli I approve of. The fact that this freak stepped foot in the same room as Finkelstein was a disgrace, that never should be allowed to happen. Adam is the exact level of serious he deserves to interact with.
Hard agree. I always suspected he was only there to make Benny Morris look more like the actual historian he used to be instead of shallow 'but actually' genocide defender he is.

He's considered cunning and smart compared to Steven Crowder et al. His base are young right-democrats who are basically republicans that are more ok with LGBT and abortion. Pro NATO, pro Israel, pro Taiwan, pro social housing/food stamps.
Also pro slurs. Their right to say the r slur is ok because they're against completely gutting safety nets for handicapped people. Their right to say the f slur is ok because they treat LGBT better than any republican.
His target audience are people who want to be a 2012 Democrat forever.
Near the end of the full 15 minute video Adam says that Destiny is reddit personified. So that tracks.
The same people that have normalised the return of all the ableist slurs that for a short while we managed to get rid of.
The way that destiny makes jokes reminds me of trying to run in a nightmare.
His humor is just saying the most awful shit with a straight face, and expecting the audience to "get" that it's a joke.
More that the delivery has no oomph, no panache. I can understand shock humour, but he is kind of mumbling the punchline under his breath.

Why does everyone view Adam Friedland with contempt and disgust?
I ask this as someone who never listened to Cumtown. The only podcasts in the Chapo orbit I've listened to are Chapo itself and Trueanon. Never heard an episode of Cumtown, or E1, or Street Fight or whatever its called, or Red Scare. So my impressions of the Cumtown hosts are cobbled together from appearances on Chapo and also Twitter posts.
This is my impression of each Cumtown host. Nick Mullen: a violently racist and misogynistic neonazi, would kill a child. Stavros Halkias: friend to all children, dated Rachel Sennott, the only actual funny person in the chapo orbit but probably not funny enough to hack it long term as a professional stand-up comic. Adam Friedland: literally nothing except that he has an interview show where Finkelstein ranted in his direction for an hour.
Stalin: "hey it's me cool Trotsky! I want a permanent revolution!"
Lenin: "hell yeah I love cool Trotsky."
Trotsky: "so wait he's cool Trotsky and I'm regular Trotsky?"
Lenin: "shut the fuck up gay Trotsky."
Stalin was 70% correct and 30% mistaken. Nick made 70% very funny bits and 30% going too far and just saying extremely racist stuff that wasn't even funny. Tragedy and farce.
Adam just has very intense younger brother/cousin energy so it feels natural to pick on him a little, that's all.
He had an annoying habit of interrupting good bits Nick and Stav were doing or not contributing much to the pod so Nick and Stav would always drag him. It was 90% a bit in and of itself and 10% him genuinely being kind of annoying. I think it's the same dynamic with fans, 90% are just going along with the bit and mocking him, 10% genuinely find the dude annoying and hate him.
Because he’s the least funny of the three, by far.
Edit: He’s better live and as a standup but, and say what you will about them, Nick and Stav have real comedic talent, in their own ways.

lol it almost sounded like they were setting up a bout of fisticuffs for a moment there. God I'd love to see Cool Adam kick that other guy's arse.
You can tell he was trying to get a reaction out of Adam to bounce off of for an epic own to post on his subreddit but Adam's entire person is not about that. He had a game plan of saying increasingly flammatory things going in and then Adam just went a different way. Adams deflection jokes like "New York is a Jewish state" completely curveballed anything he was mentally rehearsing, so he has to feebly bring up Florida, but by then the momentum has moved.

On the plus side him just saying gross shit like "I just hate Arabs" will repel decent people away from freaks like him
He'll say he's being ironic and anyone who can't see that is "dumb" or whatever. He probably believes that too, so deeply ironypilled he doesn't even know which way is up anymore.
It's not even a funny kind of irony tho, and they way he delivers it on top of the context he delivers it in is just cringe
Oh I never said its funny ironic. That's how far down the hole he is, he's wrapped all the way around to pure outward cruelty that internally he has convinced himself is funny irony. He is this cruel inwardly and outwardly, he just doesn't realize it.
