Didn't know that. Good to know. It'd been a damn long time since I've had some but there was one very nearby that was 24 hour and I thought my 3am stoned fries were in the clear
Considering the volume of fries and nuggies, I doubt it if anything for product consistency. Oil that's had chicken fried in it will taste like it really really fast, there's probably a hotter oil temp for the chicken as well. Most places that do a lot of frying will have one or some for fires and one or some used for other stuff, it's just more practical.
The fries already aren’t vegan because they have natural beef flavoring derived from milk.
Beef flavoured fries? I am once again begging Americans to get a grip

Also, don't they fry them in the same oil as the chicken nuggets?

I've been in one of their kitchens and there was only one vat of oil, but I don't know if they served nuggies here back then 🤷
I worked at McDonald's and Sonic previously and everything was cooked in the same vat of oil
Weird, that would be worse, slower and more expensive.
I worked in a McDonald’s that had a fryer for fries and everything else was fried in the back next to the grills.
