Like sorry dude but unless he was a really bad doctor, he should be forced to go back to his old job. Humanity needs medical professionals more than it needs comic actors. It takes like ten years to train a replacement doctor.

Heard joke once: Medical professional goes to doctor. Says he's depressed. Says life seems harsh and cruel. Says he feels all alone in a threatening world where what lies ahead is vague and uncertain. Doctor says, "Treatment is simple. Great comic actor Ken Jeong is in town tonight. Go and see him. That should pick you up." Man bursts into tears. Says, "But doctor..."

Thesis: Ken Jeong should go back to practicing medicine

Antithesis: Ken Jeong should continue acting if that's his passion

Synthesis: Ken Jeong should have a daytime show where he diagnosed funny medical conditions called "What's Wrong, Dr. Jeong?"

No thanks I'll pass on having a doctor who doesn't even want to be a doctor. As Hexboare has pointed out, the number of doctors in the US is artificially limited already.

The number of doctors is generally limited by doctors to keep salaries artificially high.

There is also significant opposition to allowing other medical professionals to undertake basic activities that are traditionally the domain of doctors.

If he can live his life without having to do 18 hour shifts and whatever other absurd conditions USian medical professionals have to work in, good for him.
